Extending the Class Length
The men and women in my adult English class just found out that I’m also teaching a class for six-year-olds. They have decided that they don’t want to be outdone by a bunch of children, so they are going to try even harder. They’re all doing really well already, better than I had expected when I decided to teach in asia. They have asked me if we can increase the length of the class by one hour so that they can learn even more. I have no problem with that. I think it’s kind of funny that they feel like they’re in competition with a bunch of children.
