My Husband Hangs On to His Vans Skate Shoes
My husband was an avid skateboarder when he was younger. He was out at all ours winding up and down the streets and jumping off of anything he could find. “Getting air” was what he lived for. And then he grew up and went away to school and found me and a job. Life has changed a lot for him, but he refuses to give up his Vans Skate Shoes. He puts on his slip-ons as soon as he gets home at night and rids himself of his suit. I don’t complain because they are kind of trendy looking and I don’t want him to feel like an old man whose life and fun are over.
