My Testimony of Prayer
I know that the mormon doctrine that prayer is a direct communication with God is true. I have never heard His voice speaking to me, but I have felt in my heart countless times the peace He has sent in response to my prayers. My prayers have also been answered by an increase in knowledge or by a confirmation that I know which choice I should make. The mormon doctrine of both daily and constant prayer is one which is very comforting to me, because it means God is always ready, willing, and eager to listen to me and to my problems and concerns.
