Tampa plumber sees economy improving
There are some professions that have their ear close to the ground and are good predictors of future economic trends. One business that is a leading economic indicator is the plumbing industry. I recent study done by a national research group states that calling a plumber is one of the first things people do when their consumer confidence bounces back. I talked to my cousin who is a Tampa plumber and he said that his business has improved over twenty five percent in the last month. If this is the case, I can see economists starting to follow a new “plumber index” to help forecast the economy.
